Andrew REID 李安迪
Following the comScore’s (NSADAQ:SCOR) acquisition of SponsorHub, where he served as co-Founder & CTO, Andrew currently leads comScore’s Social Media Data division. comScore is the leader in cross-platform media measurement for digital, movies, TV, social and mobile. Andrew spent over six years in Beijing at the beginning of his career, where he built a digital marketing agency. He has contributed digital, social, creative and analytics strategy to multiple award-winning ad campaigns for brands like Nissan, AT&T, BMW, Bose and many more. Andrew received an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
What was your first job, and how did it shape your life?
My first post-college job was… teaching IT/History at an international school in Beijing. The amazing thing about teaching is that it is the BEST introduction to selling and presenting. You are basically pitching your ideas about something every day.
What books are currently on your bedside table?
Currently, I’m reading Shift—the third book in the excellent science fiction series, Wool, by Hugh Howey. It is about thousands of survivors of a nuclear apocalypse who have build a society in a huge underground building called a “silo.” In non-fiction: Pitch Anything and Tribes.
When do you feel most free?
In nature. Oceans, mountains, islands, forests, lakes etc.
What’s your view on money?
The only way to be free from money is to have enough of it. Defining “enough” is extremely difficult.
What is an extraordinary place you have recently traveled to?
Seattle: If you like nature and hiking, it is pretty much paradise (at least when the sun is shining).
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I used to be a rapper. Maybe I still am.
