Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty
I plan to further connect my network with current potentials in the Chicago real estate market. I am dedicated to locating attractive investment opportunities that will draw interests from investors out-of-state and overseas to Chicago and the US. I am also passionate about helping my immediate community here in Chicago through my service and volunteer efforts at the Chinese American Service League.
What was your first job, and how did it shape your life?
Being a buyer for a luxury retailer involved so much more than simply “buying.” I felt it was important to first learn the ins and outs of the industry as a whole, and then dig deeper to understand the nuances of the company. As my career has evolved and grown to touch a full spectrum of industries, one element that continues to hold true is my observations through a macro lens, and looking at the bigger picture when making decisions. This lends itself to sharpened instincts and the recognition of opportunities that others may miss.
What books are currently on your bedside table?
Zero to One by Peter Thiel and The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg
What was the last present you gave someone?
Polaroid Zip instant photo printer.
What was the last present you received?
Glass jewelry box with antique silver details.
What is an extraordinary place you have recently traveled to?
I truly loved visiting the English countryside. It is very peaceful where the sheep still roam freely. It is extremely picturesque and the views of lakes and ponds are as if straight out of a storybook.
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I don’t require a lot of sleep. All I need are fresh fruits and veggies, an antioxidant smoothie and healthy snacks to get through the day.
