Creative Direction


I am the executive vice president of creative for WGSN. We provide deep insight and analysis of consumer, fashion and design trends to inspire our 7,000 clients companies globally to help them make better design and development decisions. Most recently I have been working on new branding ideas with our marketing team to give WGSN a fresh look and feel to better represent our business. I am also exploring new ideas for the user interface and user experience for each of our websites along with the internal product team.

What was your first job, and how did it shape your life?

I worked as an IT Manager for a project of the Hong Kong’s Education Bureau integrating technology into the existing educational system. I worked with many teachers and provided training to them. I learned how to nurture and develop people’s potential and thus the importance of understanding the differences between people - their strengths and weaknesses.

What keeps you awake at night?

Am I waking up with new ideas? Am I keeping everything fresh and inspirational to my team and to my customers?

When do you feel most free?

When I am running in central park with classical music on my headset.

What is your view on money?

Spend it if it makes you happy, then make more, and always remembering to give back.

What is an extraordinary place you have recently traveled to?

Marrakech in Morocco

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?

I play tuba.
