Paul M. Lee, Chairman of Intrestco, has over 40 years of experience as an entrepreneur in the Hospitality Industry, Real Estate, and Consulting business. He has owned, opened and invested in over 25 restaurant concepts over his long career. Intrestco manages and operates six concepts in the Chicago area and one in Cincinnati, Ohio. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Chicago Chinatown Chamber promoting, advancing the visibility and commerce of the Asian business community in Chinatown.
What was your first job, and how did it shape your life?
Actually, I refused my first job offer from Arthur Anderson Accounting firm and opened my first restaurant with my cousin. I realized then I wanted to be an entrepreneur and never looked back.
What keeps you awake at night?
When I have too much on my plate and trying to accomplish as much as i can then my mind is running a mile a minute it keeps me awake at night.

The Road Less Traveled by Scott Peck
What was the last gift you gave someone?
It is better to give then to receive.
What is your view on money?
There are many that feel money is a measurement of success. Don’t live life chasing money instead work diligently and passionately at whatever it may be and fulfill your dream then money will be the by-product of your efforts.
What is an extraordinary place you have recently traveled to?
Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.
